A new look and design of our blog has been created. The old one for some may look so dull and conservative.
Therefore the new look blog has some new features and tone of colors. Instead of focusing on green and white theme colour, black and yellow colour have also been added.
Why black and yellow colour?
Yellow represents the old boys colour because our old school badge has the yellow colour on the "dacing". Since the school has adopted a new badge where there is no more yellow colour, it is important to preserve the yellow colour.
Black? Since our state flag consists of white, yellow and black it represents Perak. Michaelians are from Ipoh and Perakeans.
An honour to the school and state.

Hello there old Michaelians,
It is interesting to see that the old boys are getting together actively to look into the welfare of the school. That's unity and togetherness. For your information, the change of St Michael's badge to green and white is not to forgo the yellow. The badge has all along been green and white. It was the logo of the Old Michaelians Association that was gold. Somehow, the school also adopted the colour and soon it was changed to yellow. We researched extensively into this and was confirmed by Brother Vincent and Mr Adrian Tsen before reverting the original colour of SMI badge to green and white.
hi there and welcome to our blog..
enjoy the words and pictures shown
thanks for the information and your comment...
referring to the transformation of the school badge, maybe for some old boys they prefer the old school badge as it represents them and their school days era..
but the change to the present badge is a good effort too..the administrator have a valid reasons for such change..
so the yellow colour represents the old michaelians?
Agree with such colour to differentiate between the current students and the old boys...the students are pure as white...and the old boys had transformed from white to yellow...in other words it means the knowledge from SMI that we gained makes what we are today...what do u think??
